What is white tea

Well, you probably heard about white tea. But what is White tea?

Actually white tea is a non fremented tea (similar to green tea) made from the new buds and tea leaves (same as herbal green tea). But these tea leaves are protected from the sunlight as they grow in order to limit chlorophyll production.

PS:
I have not found confirmation about low chlorophill contents. However confirmed the fact about very young tea buds and sometimes  young tea leaves.
